The principle for inverter gas shield welding machine is gas shield welding. Gas shield welding can be divided into inverter MAG welding and MIG welding and the main difference between them are different shielding gases. For inverter MAG welding machine, reactive gas mixture is used, commonly, carbon dioxide. However, for MIG welding machine, the shielding gas is always inert gas such as argon or helium as the main component to avoid reaction with other materials. Compared with TIG welding, there is only a tiny difference as the tungsten electrode in TIG welding torch is replaced with wire for gas shield welding.

There are two series of inverter gas shield welding machine, to be more precise, 3 general models and 5 industrial models. These machines can be used for welding of all kinds of metals, especially aluminum and aluminum alloy, copper and copper alloy, stainless steel and other materials. For welding process, there is no oxidation loss but only a small amount of loss caused by evaporation. At the same time, because wire is applied but rather tungsten electrode, the cost is lower than TIG welding. Of course, you have to choose wire feeder and a variety of wires according to your specific needs. As well as that, there are two kinds of wire feeders for customers to choose and the diameter range of wire is from 0.6 to 1mm, including flux-cored wire.

As a reminder, argon is used as shielding gas in inverter MIG welding machine and it is sensitive to oil and rust on welding wire and metal surface so wire and work piece should be cleaned thoroughly before welding operation.
